Grow Your Own Salad with Dianne Price
Dianne Price was reared on a Wisconsin dairy farm where she learned to appreciate and live off the land. A retired EMT for ambulances in Fulton & Douglas counties, she now keeps busy with her passions. She trains seeing eye dogs for Southeastern Guide Dogs and volunteers for such organizations as the Fayette Humane Society and the Well Spring Society serving the abused. In this workshop, you'll learn how you can grow your own salad in small containers. Dianne is a single mother of 4 grown children and grandmother of 7. She is affectionately known in her ward as the gardening guru. Her primary class is delighted that her guide dog gets to come to church with her.
Fly Fishing Basics with Don Turner
Don Turner graduated with a BA in Accounting from the University of South Florida. He is the owner of a CPA firm in Fayetteville, GA and also works as a Financial Analyst for Clayton County Government. When he’s not working with numbers he enjoys fly fishing. His Dad first took him fly fishing as a young boy living in southern Idaho and he has been fishing ever since. Session 1 will cover the basics of fly fishing and Session 2 will be held outside with hands on opportunity to practice casting etc. Don is Stake Sunday School President ,a Stake Auditor for the Fayetteville Georgia Stake and serves as a temple ordinance worker. He is married to Sherry Turner and they have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

Mary Anne is a native of Atlanta and lives in Locust Grove. This award winning artist has been working with stained glass for over 20 years. Her works may be found in homes throughout the USA including renowed glass artist Don Lillie. She has served as president of the Visual Artist Collective of Henry County and has published for Glass Craftsman(national magazine). You will be in good hands as she teaches you how to create your own framed glass mosiac to take home for those who purchase supplies. Anyone may observe class, space permitting.
Create Your Own Jewelry with Terran McCanna
Terran is originally from Oregon, but now lives with husband Aaron in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She has a background in fine arts, but has been beading for over ten years. You can view a gallery of her work at www.kaiaghok.com. Terran designed the "Wrapped Loop Tassel" necklace specifically for this class because it looks complicated but is actually easy to learn. Each participant that purchases the project supply kit will be allowed to take home their finished necklace selecting their own colors. Anyone may observe class, space permitting.

Personal Defense Classes with Ron Davis
Ron Sensei began his training in martial arts in 1979. He has studied several different styles and has found that Shito ryu encompasses the best of karate do. He currently holds the rank of Rokudan (6th degree black belt) in Motobu ha Shito ryu karate from the International Seishinkai Karate Union and a Rokudan in Karatedo from the Dai Nippon Butoku Kai.
